Kifah Abdul Halim is a Palestinian journalist, art critic, and a long-time social and political activist living in Israel. She began her career as a parliamentary advisor for Arab member of Knesset Dr. Ahmad Tibi, later serving as an advisor on Israeli affairs for the Palestinian Authority government. She has also worked with several NGO’s, serving as the Director of the Occupied Territories Department at Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, and as the Organizational Journalist for Hand-in-Hand, a bi-lingual educational center.

 

In recent years she has focused her career on journalism, leading context and investigative reports for newspapers and digital platforms as well as for feature documentaries. She is the Editor of the Arabic HaOketz cultural magazine, an independent digital platform for critical discussions on politics, society and economy and works with various Palestinian cultural institutions, producing festivals, music concerts, writers’ residencies, and other programs.
